Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. His acting career started with TV roles, including Opposite Sext in the year 2000. Evans became famous for his portrayal of The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has continued to be featured in films that were based on comic books like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). As well as his part as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. He became one of the most highly paid actors around the globe thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
